Our History

Designing the Sustainable Future for Everyone

Since 2019, Sustainable Design 11 (SD11) has been committed to making a difference in the lives of youths and communities throughout Cambodia. SD11 is inspired by "Sustainable Design for the Global Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities". Our mission at SD11 is to empower young people to make real progress in their communities and to build a sustainable future for themselves and others. We believe that young people have the potential to make a real impact in the world, and we are dedicated to providing them with the tools, resources, and support they need to succeed. Our programs and activities are designed to educate and inspire our members, while also connecting them with like-minded individuals who share their passions and goals. We work on four thematic tracks including Sustainable Cities and Communities, Climate Change and Environmental Education, Sustainable Lifestyle, and Youth Participation in Community Development. 
Throughout our four thematic tracks, we have a different range of activities such as study tours, workshops, seminars, community meet-ups, exhibitions and other activities that promote youth participation in making our urban and rural areas become sustainable.
